What it is
Instructor Control is the part of a training system that belongs to the instructor rather than the trainee.
What an instructor can do
- Select a scenario and configure its variables
- Start, pause and reset a session
- Inject events and change conditions during a run
- Observe each trainee's position and view
- Mark moments for the debrief
Why it matters
The instructor can adapt the session to the trainee in front of them instead of following a script written in advance.

Instructor actions and session events can be logged so they appear in After-Action Review.

- Can one instructor supervise several trainees?
- Yes, in a multi-user simulation the instructor station can show and steer several trainee positions.
